The shooting stage of ‘The Devil’s Daughter’ has started in Mumbai, India.
The second joint feature film of Iran and India is being directed by Iranian filmmaker Qorban Mohammadpour and co-produced by Mohammadpour as well as Lucky Nadiadwala Morani from India.
The shooting stage began in Mumbai on March 2, coinciding with the Holi Festival, widely known as ‘Festival of Colors’ marking the advent of spring in India.
‘The Devil’s Daughter’ is Mohammadpour’s second production project in India after his movie ‘Salaam Mumbai’ in 2016.
The high-grossing film 'Salaam Mumbai' did well at Iran box office, starring Iran megastar Mohammad-Reza Golzar and female Bollywood superstar Dia Mirza.
For his second project in India, Mohammadpour has cast celebrated Iranian actor Hamid Farrokhnejad, 48.
